Vixen Tor Farm – the perfect place for a socially distanced holiday
Located in a secluded spot on the edge of Dartmoor, Vixen Tor Farm provides the opportunity for a completely isolated holiday, with little chance of seeing other holiday makers or members of the public should you wish. There are occasionally occupants in the property set well behind the Barns, in an area separated by a gate. And whilst we previously enjoyed welcoming visitors in person, guests can now just self check-in and out.
Cleaning Principles
We employ a professional cleaning company to deliver the guest turnaround cleans at this Dartmoor holiday let, which fully complies with the government guidelines on cleaning and sanitation, as well as Airbnb’s Enhanced Cleaning Protocol. We have taken many measures to ensure any covid-19 risks are kept as low as possible within this holiday accommodation in Devon.
Coronavirus Booking Guarantee
You can book your holiday at Vixen Tor Farm in complete confidence with our Coronavirus Booking Guarantee, with low deposits, balance payments near the time of your holiday and flexible rebooking if required. The terms are:
- A low deposit of just 20% to secure your booking
- Balance not due until 10 days before your holiday, in case of late changes to Coronavirus guidance
- Complete flexibility to move bookings for up to 18 months in the event of Coronavirus restrictions
- Due to low deposit and late balance payment, no refunds are offered.
Last Minute Holidays in Devon
Given the uncertainty about changing regional tiers, lockdown and rules around travelling and holidays, we have put in place a short ‘lead time’ to make bookings (just three days), thus enabling short notice holiday bookings to be made.
Additional Services
We are normally able to offer a range of optional extras for guests staying at Vixen Tor Farm, including therapies and personal treatments. However, under the current circumstances these are subject to changing government guidelines, and at the discretion of the therapists. Some treatments may not be available or will be delivered differently to normal. Your practitioner will be able to advise you of any such changes, and of any precautions they will be undertaking as part of their own due diligence.
Eating Out and Local Visitor Attractions
Please note that some of the local visitor attractions we recommend may be operating in a different capacity, or not open at all. Likewise, many of our fabulous local restaurants and pubs may only be open on a reduced basis, or only able to offer take-away or ‘click and collect’ services. Please check ahead of your booking, to avoid disappointment.
